Wild About the Weather

Written by a college professor and weather fanatic, Ed Brotak knows just what kids want to know about the weather and how to get them excited. Each chapter explains an aspect of weather (atmosphere, sun, wind, humidity, clouds, storms) until youngsters are ready to put it all together in their own weather forecast.  Chapters include activities and projects (e.g., prove that air has weight, measure the dewpoint, make a cloud, create lightning in a jar) as well as fun facts and loads of pictures. Blank charts for tracking the weather help kids get going.
