Inventing Toys

Sobey provides step-by-step guidelines for six inventing workshops: Reverse Engineering, Toy Cars, Toy Boats, Pneumatic-Blast Rockets, Toy Planes, and Electric Fans.  Each workshop includes step-by-step teacher guidelines, lists of materials, extension suggestions, reproducible student handouts, and more.  The hands-on projects help students apply  science and math concepts and important thinking skills to something fun and practical.
