Crime Scene Investigations (Elementary Grades)

Sixty labs divided into four sections (Inquiry; Science and Technology; Earth Science, Life Science; and Physical Science) invite youngsters to solve crimes ranging from dognapping to water pollution. Students interpret and write coded messages, compare nitrogen and phosphorous in soil samples, compare lip print patterns, and identify unknown substances.  Labs include background information, a list of materials, and reproducible student pages.
