Cognitive Connections

Math is not just about numbers.  Eighty-seven cross-curricular activities integrate drawing, building, communicating, and more with a traditional math curriculum. Activities include using geometry to redesign a kitchen, exploring the ratio of germinating seeds, interviewing adults about how they use math skills in their jobs, looking for a mathematical solution to a playground problem, and more.
