Because motivating students to learn is a constant challenge for teachers, Gentry and Gable created a survey to measure four areas directly tied to motivation and learning‹Interest, Challenge, Choice, and Enjoyment‹to help teachers understand how students see their classes. Data gleaned from the survey can help teachers modify classroom activities to make school a more relevant and engaging place to be.
