2D or not 2D? That is the Question.

Introduce students to 2-dimensional drawings, 3-dimensional structures, perspective drawings, and scale drawings and discuss the important roles that they play in architecture. After students become familiar with these concepts, have them draw buildings from different angles; sketch a sectional, aerial (floor plans), and exterior view of a building; or construct a 3-dimensional scale model of a building.
